My family members are HUGE NC State fans. I had the most alumni in my family of the 2018 Freshman Class at the annual alumni luncheon.

What do you like to do in your downtime when you're not studying?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and going for walks.

What is your favorite movie?

The Greatest Showman

What is your favorite book?

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

What is your favorite food?

Sushi

Where is your favorite vacation spot?

North Myrtle Beach. I grew up going there with my family and now my parents have retired there.

If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?

Italy. The warm weather, stunning architecture, and homemade pasta would be heaven.

If you knew you could try anything and not fail, what dream would you pursue?

I would try out for an Olympic team, either gymnastics, track and field, or volleyball.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

When I was young, I competed in pageants, and my talent was clogging.

Why do you want to be an attorney?

I want to be able to give back to others and remain challenged throughout my career.

What sparked your interest in law?

My family has always been involved in local politics, making law and politics a dinner table conversation for me from an early age.

What is the hardest part of law school?

There is never enough time in the day.

What are you most excited to learn during your time here at Ward and Smith?

Seeing what the day-to-day life is like for an attorney! I am also excited to see the things I've learned in the classroom in real life.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself as a practicing attorney in North Carolina, expanding my knowledge within a particular field.

What's the best advice someone has given you?

Nothing worth having comes easy.

Describe yourself in three words.

Enthusiastic, determined, and loyal.

If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

Being able to talk for days (with no response needed).

Western or Eastern barbecue? And why?

Eastern barbecue; I think Sampson County would disown me if I picked otherwise! And, it's obviously better!

If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would the slogan be?

Work hard, play hard!
