Get ready to ignite your ambition and take charge of your career! We are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the North Carolina Chamber's Women Lead NC conference.

This one-day conference on November 8 at the Raleigh Convention Center aims to empower women to supercharge their careers, enhance personal well-being, and achieve professional fulfillment.

The Women Lead NC conference features engaging keynote speakers, motivational sessions, informative breakout sessions, timely pop-up sessions, and abundant networking opportunities. It aims to promote women's leadership, foster advocacy, nurture mentorship, prioritize self-care, and strike the perfect work-life balance.

The opening session includes a keynote address by Judge Victoria Pratt. In "Women's Empowerment: Unleashing Your Gifts," she will share her inspiring story and offer actionable takeaways on dealing with criticism, responding to "no," and acting in the face of failure.

Other breakout sessions will cover a range of topics relevant to women's professional and personal growth. Some notable presentations include:

Politics, Policy, Power: YOU - This panel discussion explores the impact of politics and policies on women, regardless of their profession. Gain insights from Karen Howard, Chair of Chatham County Board of Commissioners, Raleigh Mayor, Mary-Ann Baldwin, and Beth Friedrich, Economic Development Policy Advisor. The session will be moderated by Debra Derr, Director of Government Affairs at the NC Chamber.

Things That I Would Tell My Younger Self - Join a heartfelt session where experienced individuals share invaluable life lessons and insights drawn from their unique experiences. Discover how to overcome challenges, embrace self-compassion, build meaningful relationships, and pursue passion from Kelly Bennett, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Martin Marietta, and Linda Brown, Director of Communications at BASF Agricultural Solutions North America.

Amazing Things Can Happen Outside Your Comfort Zone - This engaging discussion is led by content creators, and husband and wife team, Penn and Kim Holderness. They will share how taking a leap outside their comfort zone helped them build their business, better their marriage, and manage mental health challenges.

In addition to these sessions, the conference offers networking opportunities, a women's bookstore with a curated collection of the latest titles, on-site professional headshot photography, and the chance to participate in local donation drives.
