Attorney Drake Brinkley will serve a second term as Chairman of the Greenville Eastern North Carolina (ENC) Alliance Board of Directors.
He was re-elected to a one-year term during the board's annual meeting in May.
During his first term, Brinkley played a key role in several significant accomplishments, including Pitt County’s largest job announcement to date with the Boviet Solar foreign direct investment project, and the development of a speculative building in Indigreen Corporate Park.
Looking ahead, Brinkley is committed to shaping a future brimming with innovation and sustainability. With plans to further enhance workforce development programs, attract cutting-edge industries, and promote a business-friendly environment, according to the official press release.
“It is a true honor to serve as the chairman of this organization as Greenville-Pitt County continues to enhance economic development throughout the entire region with business recruitment and retention, site and building development, marketing and promotion, and talent attraction and retention,” Brinkley said. “We look forward to great success ahead with collaboration from a skilled team of professionals, dedicated board of directors, engaged public and private partners, and supportive community members.”
The Greenville ENC Alliance, a public-private partnership founded in 2019, works to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life in Greenville and Pitt County communities.
