The company's first North American manufacturing center of excellence, set to open in Greenville in 2026, will produce medical devices like dialyzers and precision needles for insulin and GLP-1 therapies. Brinkley has played a key role in securing Nipro's $397.8 million investment, which will create 232 new jobs with an average salary exceeding the current Pitt County average, bolstering the local economy.

“On behalf of the Greenville ENC Alliance board of directors, we are grateful for the community collaboration that facilitated this plan. There is much to be thankful for and to celebrate."

The Nipro announcement follows Boviet Solar's decision to establish a significant presence in Pitt County. The convergence of these two transformative investments underscores the growing reputation of the Greenville-Pitt County region as a prime destination for global companies seeking to drive innovation and growth. Brinkley, recently reelected to a second term as Chairman of the Greenville ENC Alliance Board of Directors, is leading this positive momentum, and keeping to his promise of "shaping a future brimming with innovation and sustainability."
