Community associations attorney Adam Beaudoin will be heading to Orlando this May to speak at the 2025 Community Associations Institute (CAI) Annual Conference & Exposition.
The annual event, taking place on May 7–10, brings together industry professionals from across the country for several days of education, networking, and conversation around the most pressing issues facing community associations.
Adam, a fellow in CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), will be part of an interactive presentation, titled “Water… Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? You Should Be,” happening Thursday, May 8, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Alongside co-presenters Andrew J. Bateman of TriSure, and Cynthia A. Jones of Sellers, Ayers, Dortch & Lyons—also a CCAL fellow—Adam will guide attendees through a hypothetical scenario involving water damage and the legal and insurance challenges that can follow.
The session guides participants through each phase of a property damage event, from initial mitigation to resolution, exploring options for recovery, including scenarios where insurance may not be available. With its interactive format and real-world focus, the session offers practical insights for association boards, managers, and professionals alike.
