Teeing Up for a Cause: Avery’s Drive for Dravet Returns May 12

Golfers, mark your calendars and polish your clubs—Avery’s Drive for Dravet is teeing off once again on Monday, May 12, at the scenic Magnolia Greens Golf Club in Leland, NC.

This 18-hole charity tournament, sponsored by Ward and Smith, brings together the local golf community for a day of friendly competition and heartfelt purpose, all in honor of Avery Lennon and in support of the Dravet Syndrome Foundation.

Hosted at one of the Southeast’s premier courses, Magnolia Greens offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. The tournament is limited to 128 golfers, ensuring a smooth pace of play and an intimate atmosphere. Following the round, participants will enjoy a catered lunch, an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding performances, and a raffle featuring a variety of prizes.

Dravet syndrome is a rare and severe form of epilepsy that begins in infancy and can lead to developmental delays and other health issues. The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for research, increasing awareness, and providing support to individuals and families affected by Dravet syndrome.​
