The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce is set to host its January Power Luncheon on Tuesday, January 21.
Sponsored by Ward and Smith, this event will feature Dr. Steve M. Lassiter, Jr., the newly appointed Superintendent of Pitt County Schools, as the keynote speaker.
Dr. Lassiter, who became the 17th superintendent of Pitt County Schools on November 4, 2024, will present "The Road Ahead: A Vision for Future Success." His address will outline five defining pillars that align with the school district's core values, serving as a roadmap to guide Pitt County Schools, the 13th largest district in North Carolina, in serving its more than 24,000 students.
The luncheon will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m., with lunch available at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Greenville in Greenville, NC. The event is open to both Chamber members and non-members, with fees of $35 and $45, respectively.
