The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain's 2021 Ultimate Pre-Game Party is going strong, but with a twist.
Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, the format of the annual fundraiser has changed to an online auction only. People can bid on items for signature events, such as ECU football tickets, outdoor and experiences, like a week getaway to Hacienda Del Mar Los Cabos, jewelry, fine art, spa services, fitness, food, and much more. Ward and Smith is a proud sponsor of the Ultimate Pre-Game Party, which supports the non-profit's mission of ensuring that all young people, especially those in need, reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. It does this by offering kids, ages 6 to 18 years, what they need most: staff members who are role models who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can be themselves and have fun, and constructive activities to channel their youthful energy. It also provides after-school programs that support what kids learned at school to increase their overall academic success.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain serve families in Pitt, Lenoir, Beaufort, Greene, Martin, Carteret, and Craven Counties.
