Ward and Smith, P.A. is pleased to welcome J. Drake Brinkley to our Greenville office. Mr. Brinkley's practice experience includes a variety of commercial real estate matters, including the representation of buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and leases. He is an accredited Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design associate with a specialty in the design and construction phases of green buildings (LEED AP BD+C). Mr. Brinkley also has a degree in civil engineering and was employed by a large civil engineering design firm prior to attending law school.
Mr. Brinkley received his law degree from Campbell Law School in 2006 where he served as Articles Editor for the Campbell Law Review and Case Summary Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. He also was a member of the Campbell Law Moot Court and the Order of Old Kivett.
Mr. Brinkley received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University in 2002.
