November Power Luncheon: Driving Workforce Development in Eastern North Carolina

The upcoming Greenville-Pitt County Chamber Power Luncheon is set to be a cornerstone event focusing on workforce development in Eastern North Carolina.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, will bring together business leaders and community stakeholders to discuss key strategies for economic and educational advancement in the region.

Dr. Maria PharrDr. Maria Pharr, the newly appointed President of Pitt Community College, will serve as the keynote speaker. Her address will highlight the college's critical role in fostering workforce development and her administration's efforts to make Pitt Community College a leading institution in employee satisfaction and skill enhancement.

With a robust background that includes seven years as president of South Piedmont Community College and a previous role as PCC’s Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Pharr is committed to ensuring that individuals are equipped with the skills needed to achieve their aspirations.

The luncheon presents an invaluable opportunity for networking among professionals, with lunch available at 11:30 a.m. and the program running from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Both Chamber members and non-members are welcome, and registration fees are $30 and $40, respectively.
