Mayukh Sircar, CIPP/US to Speak on Healthcare Privacy Panel Hosted by Wake Forest School of Law

Cybersecurity, data privacy & technology attorney Mayukh Sircar, CIPP/US, will join an esteemed panel of privacy and cybersecurity professionals for a discussion on the intersection of ethics, law, and technology in healthcare.

The virtual panel, hosted by Awaken: The Creative Journal of Contemporary Bioethics at Wake Forest University School of Law, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

The discussion will explore how cybersecurity and privacy laws impact healthcare systems, addressing topics such as ransomware threats, HIPAA compliance, and the ethical challenges of managing sensitive health data. Panelists will provide insights into the evolving regulatory landscape and the real-world implications of privacy and security measures in the healthcare industry.
