Ward and Smith is delighted to support Campbell Law School in their role as the Region V host of the National Trial Competition's (NTC) Annual Tournament from February 17-19, 2023.
Law school trial teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia will be in attendance at the competition to be held at the Wake County Courthouse.
In order for this competition to be a success, Campbell Law needs licensed attorneys to serve as presiding and/or scoring judges. They still need volunteers for Saturday's preliminary rounds 3 and 4 and Sunday's semifinal round. You will be compensated for your time in CLE credit. As a judge, you are eligible for up to 12 hours of general CLE and 0.5 hours of professional and responsibility and ethics credit. And to sweeten the pot, volunteer names will be placed in a drawing to receive an iPad or another Apple item of their choice of equal or lesser value. The more times a volunteer serves as a judge, the more he or she will be entered into a drawing.
