Ward and Smith is proud to announce that Jim Wilson, a Professional Licensing attorney, has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).
The LCA is a distinguished, invitation-only society that recognizes trial lawyers who consistently demonstrate exceptional litigation skills. With a membership capped at 3,500 Fellows—representing less than one-half of one percent of all American lawyers—the LCA maintains rigorous selection criteria.
Fellows are selected not only for their effectiveness and achievements in litigation and trial work but also for their ethical integrity. The organization retains a limited membership to ensure the quality, diversity, and inclusivity of its Fellows. Typically, individuals chosen have twelve or more years of experience as partners, shareholders, or independent practitioners.
"Jim has been pivotal in expanding our Professional Licensing practice, leveraging nearly 40 years of legal experience. Members of the medical field have consistently appreciated his insight, calm presence, and dedication," remarked Brad Evans, the firm's Co-Managing Director. "We're thrilled to see his hard work honored with this prestigious distinction—it's a well-deserved testament to his skill, integrity, and professionalism."
Jim is the third Ward and Smith attorney to earn Fellowship, joining Litigation Practice Section leader Lynwood Evans and retired litigator Don Eglinton.
