Ward and Smith is proud to announce the promotion of Jessica Denoyer to the role of Human Resources Manager.
With over eight years of exemplary service as the firm's Human Resources Coordinator, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the forefront as she leads new HR initiatives while providing valuable insight into strategic plans and decisions.
"Jessica has consistently demonstrated the ability to manage and provide solutions for an array of staffing and organizational challenges in a rapidly changing environment," stated Mike Epperson, the firm's Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. "We are confident that she will successfully carry out her role as our Human Resources Manager with resilience, innovation, and passion."
As part of her responsibilities, Jessica will cultivate best practices in recruiting and retention and employee relations while spearheading diverse programs to foster organizational success. She will oversee the firm's compensation, benefits, and performance management programs. She has already made tremendous strides in her former role and is credited for introducing Ward and Smith's first Staff Internship Program that promotes the recruitment of a more diverse workforce. With her drive for success, she will undoubtedly continue to bring innovation and strategic insight to the department.

Jessica is a SHRM Certified Professional based in the firm's New Bern office.
