Professional and Community Affiliations
I am a proud member of a military family. The United States Marine Corps brought my husband and me to eastern North Carolina in May 2020. He currently serves as a Captain, AV-8B Harrier Pilot, at MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock, North Carolina. Additionally, my father-in-law, sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law served in the United States military.
What sparked my interest in law:
My mother is a career District Attorney, and my father retired in 2022 after 43 years in law enforcement. Throughout my life, I've watched my parents work tirelessly to advocate for members of their local community. I went to law school so I could be in a position where one day I could do the same.
Other interests/activities:
My husband and I are fiercely loyal to our sports teams: the Denver Broncos, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Carolina Tar Heels
In the summer, we enjoy hosting "land-locked" friends and family for long weekends on the Crystal Coast with our golden retriever, Beau (named after our favorite North Carolina town, Beaufort).
