Attorney Thomas Wolff has been appointed Secretary of the Capital City Clauses Board of Directors.
He has served on the board since 2022 and has been actively involved in the organization for several years prior.
As Secretary, Thomas will maintain board meeting records, prepare and distribute meeting minutes, and assist with other administrative tasks.
The Capital City Clauses is a board of volunteers appointed to serve for three years. The members are a diverse group of community professionals who are committed to raising funds and working closing with partners in the community to enhance the lives of children in Wake County and the surrounding areas. One of the initiatives launched by the board is the Jingle Ball, which raises funds to purchase toys and provide resources and opportunities to children in need. Ward and Smith has been a proud supporter of the Jingle Ball for many years.
Thomas is an experienced creditors' rights attorney, adeptly navigating his clients through commercial loan transactions and bankruptcy proceedings. He offers comprehensive legal services in stock & asset purchase transactions as well as contract negotiation to financial institutions, lenders, community associations, and other debtors. In addition to providing counsel on the formation of new business entities, Thomas also supports community association boards with establishing effective collection policies for enforcement purposes.
