Ward and Smith, P.A. Relocates Raleigh OfficeWard and Smith, P.A. is excited to announce the relocation of its Raleigh office. The Firm will move from its current location in downtown Raleigh to its new space at 5430 Wade Park Boulevard in August. Ward and Smith is one of the largest law firms based in North Carolina and serves as counsel for many mid- and large-sized businesses, as well as municipalities, counties, and state agencies. The Firm also has offices located in Asheville, Greenville, New Bern, and Wilmington. Co-Managing Director Kenneth R. Wooten commented, "The relocation of our Raleigh office is a reflection of the Firm's commitment to its core values of client service and responsiveness. Without the trust of our clients, there would be no need to expand. We welcome this opportunity to strengthen our relationships with current clients and to introduce ourselves to the clients of our future." When asked about the upcoming office relocation in Raleigh, David L. Ward,
Jr. remarked, "Ward and Smith's relocation into a new and larger office in
Raleigh's expanding area is exciting for me and our Ward and Smith family. My
grandfather opened his solo law practice in New Bern more than 110 years ago,
and my father joined him in 1926. In 1962 when I joined the firm of Ward and
Tucker in New Bern, I was the third attorney and we were located in a house that
doubled as a residence and overflow motel. In 1967, Troy Smith joined us and
became the fourth attorney. This move in Raleigh is necessary to accommodate
Ward and Smith's 75 attorneys, 60 paralegals, and 144 support staff who operate
as one unit out of our five North Carolina offices. We look forward to what the
future has in store for us." |
