Ward and Smith, P.A. Welcomes Four Attorneys

Ward and Smith, P.A. is pleased to announce that trusts and estates attorneys Carrie B. Cline and Jennifer J. Dacey, labor and employment attorney Stephen C. McIntyre, and litigation attorney Allen N. Trask, III joined the Firm in January 2010.  Ms. Cline works in the Firm's Raleigh office, Ms. Dacey works in the Firm's New Bern office, and Mr. McIntyre and Mr. Trask work in the Firm's Wilmington office.

Carrie B. Cline earned her law degree in 2009, magna cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law where she served as editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review.  She received her M.A., summa cum laude, in English from North Carolina State University and her B.A., summa cum laude, in English from Florida Southern College.  Ms. Cline was a 2008 Summer Associate at Ward and Smith.

Jennifer J. Dacey received her J.D. in 1998, with high honors, from the George Mason University School of Law.  Ms. Dacey was the notes editor for the George Mason Law Review and the recipient of the Scott C. Whitney Writing Prize.  She earned her A.B. in Public Policy Studies/History from Duke University.  Her professional experience includes a variety of commercial litigation in federal and local courts.

Stephen C. McIntyre earned his law degree in 2009, with honors, from The University of North Carolina School of Law where he practiced under attorney supervision for the University's Civil Legal Assistance Clinic.  He received his B.A., with distinction, in Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Mr. McIntyre was a 2008 Summer Associate at Ward and Smith.

Allen N. Trask, III received his J.D. in 2009 from Campbell Law School.  Mr. Trask was the chief articles editor for the Campbell Law Review and winner of the Intramural Moot Court competition.  He received his B.S. in Political Science from East Carolina University.  Mr. Trask was a 2008 Summer Associate at Ward and Smith.
